Governor Pawlenty's Letter on Climate Change

Dear members of the Minnesota Congressional Delegation,

I write to express my concerns regarding the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, also known as  the Waxman-Markey bill.  This legislation would place significant burdens on the individuals and job creators, while doing little to impact its intended goal of changing the global climate.

Governor Pawlenty on Obama's spending "freeze"

Governor Pawlenty was on FOX News last night talking about President Obama's plans to freeze "non-security" discretionary spending. Said the Governor:

The freeze that the President announced a day or so ago ... is kind of like somebody eating three Big Macs and then deciding they're going to control their weight by ordering a Diet Coke. It's an acknowledgement of the problem. It's at least a small step in the right direction. But for all the reasons you've been talking about, it's really not a freeze.
