Correcting the DNC
Responding to Governor Pawlenty's POLITICO oped earlier today, a spokesman at the Democratic National Committee invited a comparison of Governor Pawlenty and President Obama's spending records in an email to national reporters.
However, the report cited by the DNC in its email was out-dated; in fact, a new study by the CATO Instituate in 2008 ranked Governor Pawlenty as one of the most fiscally responsible governors in the country. (Pawlenty received a "B", near the top of the list. By comparison, the DNC chairman, Gov. Kaine, received a "D".) Wrote the CATO institute in its report: "Pawlenty's veto record is impressive, including rejecting a gasoline tax increase, a hike in the top personal income tax rate, and various bloated spending bills." (Vetoing bloated spending bills - something President Obama should consider!)
On the same day President Obama is proposing record deficits and higher taxes, I'm surprised the DNC would attack a governor who cut spending for the first time in his state's history, and balanced his state's budget every year without raising taxes.

It's time to act and take down this tax and spend machine that's running the federal government! I think Pawlenty can do it!

So Pawlenty will be out of office and off the government dime, the one he disdains all others from collecting from the "BIG" govenrment, this fall. He and his wife did pretty well collecting tax payer checks through the years.
Not to worry, he'll find some fat Republican to foot his bills.
Tim Pawlenty stated more money should be given to corporate America, doesn't he realize they only take the jobs overseas. He was proud that Minnesota took entitilements from the bus drivers, this speaks of his prioritys and it certainly is not the middle class.
Tim Pawlenty on Meet the Press makes ablsolutely no sense to me. He is asking for Bush tax cuts. Tell us Americans please why it is better to cut taxes for the top 1% of Americans instead of the 95 % who received small tax cuts this year? Because I am a teacher does that mean I don't contribute enough to the economy to deserve a tax cut?
And Climate Change. You believe we should stop pollution but not in a way that hinders economics. If we had better laws people would not be poisoning our planet for the promise of profit. I ask you dear senator, is money more imoirtant than human beings? Or is that not an easy question to answer because there are certain types of human beings that are worth less to you than money?
But I have more beef. That Tiger Woods comment was tasteless, yet you say we need to preserve our humor. Look at your party's use of humor for the recent plane crash into the IRS building. I thought that boardered supporting terrorism. That was a terrorist act since it was aimed at the government and government policy. Nothing to joke about. That doesn't prove humor is needed, it proves that some people are so far detached from reality that they doen't realize how waeful it is to side with someone who believe that murder is the answer.
