Hi – welcome to what will hopefully be the first of many posts on this blog.

This is a big day for the Freedom First PAC. We’re launching this new website in conjunction with our effort to get Scott Brown elected as the next U.S. Senator from Massachusetts. If Scott wins, he’ll be the 41st vote we need to defeat the Democrats’ ill-conceived government take-over of health care.

Another goal of our organization is to urge our leaders in Congress to get control of the Federal budget. Today, Governor Pawlenty is proposing a balanced the budget amendment in a column at the Daily Caller, a new website being launched by some of our conservative friends. If you haven’t done so already, I hope you read the Governor’s piece (available here), and then spend some time exploring the rest of their site.

Since we launched the Freedom First PAC on October 1st, Governor Pawlenty and the rest of the team have been busy – and we’ve had a lot of success. We hope this new website – including this blog – will help us build on that early success, and better keep you updated on our progress.
